Monika holds a German Microlight Pilot Licence, and came to fly with us on a 4 day South African Safari flight. |

She flew as pilot in command, and I accompanied her as a safety pilot/instructor.
Monika chose a 4 day 3 night flight on a clockwise routing around Kwa Zulu Natal, passing East of the Drakensberg mountain range and on to Battlefields lodge near Dundee. Day 2 took us to the Ithala Game Lodge on the Swaziland border, day 3 on to Sodwana Bay and day 4 back to Ballito along the KZN coast-line. |
Total flying time was approximately 10 hours and the distance covered in the region of 800km. Enjoy sharing her Microlight Aerotrek Safari Adventure......... |

First stop on day one, after a 2 hour flight, is a pit stop for re-fuelling and refreshments. The Estcort Ultra City filling station. Always brings smiles ….......... unheard of in Germany!! |
