National Pilot' Licence Category Sport Plane

The South African National Pilot License, Category Sport Plane, allows the pilot to fly conventional stick and rudder aircraft up to a maximum certified mass of 600kg, which includes all conventional control microlights as well. Comefly Pilot Centre uses the Skyranger aircraft, which is an easy to fly, cost effective and extreemly safe training aircraft with a great international reputation. It is the winner of over 5 world championships in its class and has many other international awards behind its name.

The following costs are estimates only based on minimum training requirements. Actual costs will depend on prospective pilots' background, abilities and off course the weather. Additional costs might include extra flying, extra instructor time or additional ground school, all of which will be worth it for fun safe training and a enjoyable flying career.
