La Mercy Airfield is ideally situated to offer a wide range of training. The weather is good year-round, and the training environment diverse, with tudent accommodation facilities onsite. The airfield is situated close to Durban, which is great for tourist-pilot, but also ideal for the local pilot who wishes to do training closer to home.

David Daniel, La Mercy Flights Park's Chief Flying Instructor, was South African head of Training for 2 years, and has much to offer all students, whether doing ab-initio, instructors' or trike master's training.

Our committed Instructors spend a lot of one-on-one time with all students, and always operate under the watchfull eye of David.

Many of our students have done expeditions shortly after completing training, and to date, no student trained under La Mercy Flight Park, has had an accident during their flying carreer.
